People & Culture Business Partner – 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Job Description: Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced business? We're seeking an experienced and commercially minded People & Culture Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide strategic people support, navigate complex employee relations matters and help drive a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders and managers to provide strategic and operational People & Culture support.
- Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted advisor on a broad range of people matters.
- Partner with managers to proactively address people challenges and lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, long-term sickness, capability, AWOL and tribunal-related matters.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in managing people effectively.
- Support organisational change initiatives, driving engagement and ensuring successful implementation.
- Provide clear and pragmatic guidance on employment legislation, policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People & Culture function to ensure a seamless and professional service.
- Analyse people trends and data to identify opportunities, risks and areas for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to key People & Culture projects and annual cyclical activities, including performance reviews, salary reviews and employee engagement initiatives.
- Share best practice and lessons learned to help improve people processes, policies and ways of working.
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years' experience within Human Resources, Employee Relations, People & Culture or Business Partnering roles.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven experience managing complex Employee Relations casework.
- Experience partnering with leaders and managers to deliver business-focused people solutions.
- Ability to influence, challenge and coach stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
